You may have noticed that we are publishing a day late. You can partially blame that on the holiday weekend, but really, it is because Evan’s laptop is currently on a UPS truck to New York to get its display repaired, which broke right after we finished recording last week. So, we had to get creative this week, extracting the audio from our Facebook Live. As such, even though we left room for them in the episode, our oft-used and always-beloved audio transitions are nowhere to be found this go-round. We hope you forgive us.
That said, it’s still a great episode. Evan and Hans discuss the Beatles Breakup 50 years later and the narratives that persist regarding what actually caused it, even though, like many things, the truth is much more complicated than what you probably heard. Speaking of Truth, Hans talks a new book on the Sermon on the Mount that has a really good take. And then Evan reviews Bill & Ted Face the Music, which is totally excellent!
